ALCRO is seeking to employ a Data Remediation Analyst for a contract engagement with one of our Victorian clients based in the Western Suburbs.
About the role:
The purpose of this role is to clean the duplicate or invalid data manually based on the articulated business rules. The role is expected to be working closely with the SME’s from the business, data stewards and Product Owners to remediate the data
Responsibilities
- Extract data records from the remediation queues
- Analyse data quality and determine appropriate remediation steps
- For pre-approved remediation steps, apply agreed solution
- For new remediation steps, validate the proposed remediation with SME’s, Product Owners and data stewards
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to assist with resolving data remediation issues
- Follow the instructions to remediate data in the production systems
- Document the changes made and ensure they can be audited
- Contribute to the data remediation improvement process
- Provide progress reports to the Project Manager on a weekly basis
Experience / Skills
- Ability to liaise in a professional manner with a range of internal clients/stakeholders
- Ability to communicate directly with clients to understand and confirm details of information requests
- Responsive to information requests, keeping clients informed on progress and status
- Demonstrated ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously with limited guidance when required
- Ability to prioritise and organise own tasks to meet tight deadlines
- Must be able to make recommendations and map these processes clearly and with a high level of detail.
- Salesforce CRM qualification or relevant experience (highly desired)
- Sound application of data and business analysis and attention to detail
- Ability to interrogate and interpret data
- Ability to present data in a structured and common language
- Proficient in Excel
